This thought hits me some mornings… usually when I’m waiting on something to change on its own.

I realize I’m still standing in my own life, holding all of the responsibility whether I like it or not.

Owning your life isn’t about being harsh or cold, It’s about being honest about it. Nobody’s coming to save you from the choices you keep avoiding. Nobody’s going to step in and do the uncomfortable work for you. There’s no perfect timing. There’s no rescue plan. There’s no magical moment.

That sounds heavy… real heavy, but...

The second I stopped waiting for someone else to fix things in my life, I started seeing where I still had power. Not control over everything, but ownership over my effort, my boundaries, my healing, and the direction that I choose to go today.

Owning your life doesn’t mean you do it all alone. It means that you stop pretending someone else is responsible for what you already know needs to change. It means you take the pen back and accept that this chapter will look exactly like the choices you make right now.

No one is coming to save you. You’re already capable of doing it yourself.

Just Do It! (No, I’m not endorsed by Nike… not yet, anyway! Lol)
