Patience is the part I struggle with the most.
I’m living in a season right now where my progress feels a little slower than my effort. I show up everyday, I do the work, and at the end of the day... no big wins… no clear signals. Just another checkmark on the to do list.
There are mornings I check all the numbers, the responses, or any signs of movement and feel that familiar pull to rush things. To force outcomes. To question whether the work is even worth it that I’m doing. That impatience doesn’t come from laziness. It comes from caring… from wanting things to matter sooner than they’re ready to.
What I’m learning in real time is that delay isn’t denial, It’s development. The things I want to last can’t be built at the speed of my anxiety. They need consistency more than urgency. They need repetition more than intensity.
Real change doesn’t hurry up. Healing doesn’t rush itself. Strength doesn’t just appear. It’s being built quietly right now in daily habits that don’t look impressive and days that feel just ok.
Patience isn’t passive… It’s active trust. It’s choosing to stay when quitting would feel justified. It’s doing the work again today without demanding proof that it’s working.
Great things take time…
… And patience is what keeps you in the room long enough to receive those great things.
