Don’t overthink it… just answer honestly:

1 Low stress
2 A little tense
3 Hanging on
4 Bottled up and about to explode

Sometimes admitting where you’re at is the biggest step forward.

Journaling during the holidays isn’t some cute little hobby. It’s survival for your mind and heart.

This time of year gets loud fast. Expectations everywhere. People pulling you in a dozen directions. Emotions sneaking up on you out of nowhere. Writing gives you a place to breathe in the middle of all that chaos.

When you put your thoughts on paper, you slow your mind down long enough to actually feel what’s going on instead of stuffing it. You get to celebrate the good moments, the inside jokes, the tiny wins, the quiet peace of a morning. You get to face the hard stuff without pretending it doesn’t exist.

Some days it’ll look like gratitude. Some days it’ll look like frustration. Some days it’ll look like a messy page that simply says, “I did my best.” All of it matters.

By the time the new year shows up, you won’t just have memories… you’ll have proof of your growth. A record of every day you showed up when quitting would’ve been easier.

That’s the kind of story worth writing.
